This policy explains how UAB CargoFOX (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit cargofox.pro or contact us.

What data we process and why

• Enquiries. When you email us or use a contact form we process your name, company, email, phone number and the content of your message, to reply and to prepare a commercial offer. Legal basis: steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in running our business (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Website usage. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) where required, otherwise our legitimate interest in improving the site. See our Cookie Policy.
• Business relations. If we work together we process contact details of your representatives and the data needed for contracts, invoices and shipping documents. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations such as accounting and customs (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Who receives your data

We do not sell personal data. It may be shared with service providers acting on our behalf: website hosting (Hostinger), email providers, Google (analytics and fonts), our accountants and, where a shipment is concerned, carriers, customs brokers and the counterparties of the transaction. Some providers are located outside the EEA (for example in the United States); such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: up to 3 years after the last contact. Contract and accounting records: as long as the law requires (normally up to 10 years). Analytics data: for the retention period set in Google Analytics (not longer than 14 months).

Your rights

You may ask us for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Write to info@cargofox.pro. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (VDAI), www.vdai.lrv.lt.

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
